Our country is still having trouble with tolerance of other religions. However, we are improving and are hopefully less extreme. I sense more intolerance from Muslim countries that is sanctioned politically. Is this true? Why or why not?

We must work together to achieve happiness on earth
Intolerance in the Arab world comes not from Islam, but of totalitarian regimes that oppress their own people depend on Europe and America, fighting Islam and the opposition under the guise of fighting extremism, some people find the violence to express themselves rather than the peaceful expression and this way is very wrong and islam refuse it islam depend on peace when it do the change for the best
The Quran has a permanent constitution to deal with the other, without regard to religion 7. It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
8. Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.
9. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. sura 60
